Miss Courtney Hart has worked with TRiO for about 6 years. She began her TRiO career as an Adjunct Instructor with Upward Bound in her hometown, where she taught Chemistry and Spanish.
While attending graduate studies, she then became a Graduate Assistant with Student Support Services, where she conducted research on TRiO students’ sense of belonging.
She was later promoted to Program Coordinator with Educational Talent Search. Miss Hart currently serves as the Pre-College Advisor with Middle Georgia Center for Excellence’s Upward Bound program.
Miss Hart graduated from the GREAT Bethune-Cookman University with her Bachelor’s in Chemistry and later received her Masters in Nanotechnology from University of Central Florida.
Her professional interests include student success, college access, creating opportunities for first-generation and underrepresented students, creating more STEM interest in the black community, and educational data.
